As you know, you're the reason I started running in the first place. I will see you at Hinson and would love to walk some laps with you!Amber S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04820777902200770550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6829146583696463704.post-28149871772465584472013-09-13T17:49:06.986-07:002013-09-13T17:49:06.986-07:00So YOU are one of the 15!!! I am a regular reader of this blog, and you...Frank,
I am a regular reader of this blog, and you are my biggest inspiration.
A few years ago running was easy, and I kept going faster and farther and never got injured. It's all catching up to me now though. Everything hurts, I'm slowing down, and I can't do half of what I used to.
But every time I get depressed about it, I think of you. NOTHING stops you Frank. Anyone else would have given up and thought running was impossible. But you show that you can be a runner no matter what happens. Run on Frank!achttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05177599337836349850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6829146583696463704.post-90739077764321010562013-09-13T04:45:17.592-07:002013-09-13T04:45:17.592-07:00Jim - I like the way you think!!!!Jim - I like the way you think!!!!Frank Lilleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17973044642640967617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6829146583696463704.post-16218463937872163912013-09-12T09:42:30.851-07:002013-09-12T09:42:30.851-07:00You have 80 minutes to do each lap in order to get...You have 80 minutes to do each lap in order to get 18 laps in, so here is my recommendation:

Have a huge 150 qt cooler full of ice/beer at your table ready to go.

Do a lap in 40 minutes, then sit down and fill a bucket with ice and water, soak the feet in the bucket while chilling rest of the body with ice cold drinks for 40 minutes.

Do this 18 times. It's important to lock the cooler since other runners will undoubtedly attempt to liberate the cold drinks. Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00921924865002345936noreply@blogger.com
